We are delighted to see your interest in ‘Aisha Academy, a leading theological institution in Canada. Established in 2011, ‘Aisha Academy has been providing students with a comprehensive education that integrates Islāmic studies and academic excellence for over a decade.
If you are looking for a place to pursue your passion for Islāmic knowledge and develop your personal and professional skills, you have come to the right place. Below, you will find all the information you need to apply for admission, such as the eligibility requirements, the application process, the tuition and fees, and the financial aid options.
Admission Requirements
Any Ahmadi woman can now join ‘Aisha Academy Canada! To be eligible for admission to our theological school, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed high school and received a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. University documents are accepted, as well.
- Must reside in Canada.
- Must be able to communicate well in English as most classes will be taught in English. Some classes will also be offered in Urdu. Click here to see our schedule to see what is offered.
- Must be technologically adept. We will be using Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Meet, Google Classroom, etc.)
Application Process
The application process for studies at ‘Aisha Academy Canada will include the following:
- Fill and submit the Admission Application Form
- Candidate must email in a copy of the following to admissions@aishaacademy.ca:
- Educational Certificates (High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent)
- Any work experience (optional)
- Government issued ID (Health Cards are not accepted)
- Language Proficiency documents (if applicable)
- Upon receiving these documents, we will set up an interview date for you. The interview will take place online through Google Meet and will be administered by 2 or 3 members of the faculty.
- Wait for our admission decision. We will notify you of our decision by email with further instructions.
- A form will be sent to confirm your courses.
- Pay your registration and course fees (see Tuition Fees for instructions).
- Email your payment receipt to: admissions@aishaacademy.ca
- Once everything has been received, a letter detailing onboarding instructions will be sent to you with your student number and email address.
- You will then be added to your selected courses in Google Classroom and can start attending as soon as classes begin!
Tuition Fees
The tuition fee applies to both ‘Aisha Academy’s regular courses as well as short courses.
- One time non-refundable registration fee: $75.00, valid for a period of 3 academic years.*
- Course Fee: $50.00 per course** (to be paid for an entire semester)
Tuition fees will be paid via the AMJ online portal. Students are required to save their receipts and submit them to the administrative office. Payment must be made before being registered into classes.
*The validity period expires 3 years from the date of payment whether courses are taken or not.
**Course fee is refundable provided the course has not begun. Once the course has started, no course fee will be refundable. Requesting a refund will require a copy of the receipt, and a written notice to the Academy’s administration. Refunds will be processed in 2 – 3 weeks after the request has been submitted.
Financial Aid Options
We understand that financial challenges can impact educational pursuits. To assist families facing financial constraints, we offer a range of financial aid options. If you fall under any of the following categories, you may be eligible for a full or partial tuition fee exemption:
- The wife of a Murabbi or a Jamia student
- A Waqf-e-Zindagi yourself (NOT Waqf-e-Nau)
- Wife or daughter of a Waqf-e-Zindagi
- Demonstrated Financial Need
To apply for financial assistance:
- Submit supporting documentation that validates your eligibility or demonstrates your financial need.
- ‘Aisha Academy Administration will carefully review your application and supporting documents.
- Upon approval, your tuition fee will be fully or partially waived allowing you to pursue your education.
