Politics & Islām

The course explores the intricate relationship between politics &  Islām, examining how this faith intersects with governance. It covers key historical periods in Islāmic history and contemporary themes. Utilising diverse literature, from Ahmadiyya history to philosophical and academic texts, this course aims to understand Islāmic history, Qur’ānic teachings on politics, and current debates on Islām’s role in global politics. By comparing scholarly and religious texts, it seeks to reveal similarities and differences, emphasising potential biases in secular analyses against religious knowledge.
